Non profit curatorial platform

As an open platform to present, produce, and exchange artistic ideas outside of institutional discourse, the core value of Vernacular Institute is to build up international and regional dialogue through providing diverse art productions. Working across curatorial, editorial and cinematic boundaries and staging projects with performative approaches, Vernacular Institute intends to expand possibilities beyond linear narrative and to provide an engaging, collaborative program that remains focused on international exchange within its locality and beyond. Often developing ideas with artists over a one-to-two-year incubation period, from concept to completion, Vernacular Institute is an evolving space for experimentation, transformed by each artist’s commission.
